Upcoming Events at The Dudley Farm
Despite COVID-19 The Dudley Farm Museum continues to plan events of interest to our members. For updates, please check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dudleyfarmmuseum .
We’ll start the year in February. Maple sugaring on the farm, while very weather dependent, will be open to the public during weekends in February and March. It’s a great opportunity to be outside and enjoy some fresh air. Just look for signs at the Farm entrance. And if the sugar house is steaming, sap is boiling
Also in February, March and April our Market Managers are planning Farmers’ Markets on the grounds. This is a new venture for us; there should be plenty of options of interest available to you as you stroll the grounds.
March will see the continuation of our sugaring demonstrations. Unfortunately, we will need to cancel our rug hooking workshop with Michele Micarelli. We hope to reschedule later in the year.
April brings with it the need to clean up the grounds, and, with the help of Scout Troop #472 we will do that the morning of April 10th with a rain date of the afternoon of April 11th. Many hands make light work! You’ll get coffee and doughnuts to help fortify your efforts, meet fellow volunteers, and make the Farm shine. Hope to see you there. Don’t forget your gloves, clippers, and rakes !
