Join us for a class on fall foraging and cooking with wild food on Saturday, September 12th at 2 PM at Dudley Farm in Guilford, CT. This class will be co-taught by CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers and forager & chef Vinny Crotta. Participants will learn how to identify and utilize edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms that can be found in the fall. Chef Vinny will also discuss how to use wild ingredients in the kitchen.
Class will consist of a 45 minute lecture where you will learn how to differentiate edible species from any toxic look alikes. We will also discuss sustainability and recipes. We will then go on a 45 minute walk where we will practice plant and mushroom ID.
This class will be $35 per person. 20% of ticket sales will go towards a donation to the Dudley Foundation.
Participants will be served a foraged snack to enjoy during the lecture.
You will be sent out an email the day before the class with further details.
We will run the class rain or shine. No refunds.
