Conversations with Historical Objects

Each week we’ll focus on one object from the Dudley Farm museum collections and explore what stories can be generated from different perspectives. Objects will include: Amy Dudley’s book of cloth scraps, a stone tool from 7000 years ago, and a 19 th -century mushball. Discussion will be limited to 15 people to allow for full participation and we’ll meet in a circle at various locations around the farm.

This is a 3-session event held on Fridays: June 14, 21, 28

Facilitators:
Maria Trumpler teaches women’s history at Yale and is President of the Dudley Foundation.
Jim Powers is an historian and archaeologist and founding member of the Dudley Farm
Museum.
Kendrick Norris is president of the New York Association for Analytical (Jungian) Psychology, a
Dudley Farm Board Member, and Minister Emeritus, First Congregational Church, Guilford.
