Indigenous Storytelling and Art Show

June 22 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

The Dudley Farm’s Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum invites you to a special event with Deborah Spears Moorehead, as she brings to life in a dramatic and captivating manner the traditional stories of the Wampanoag people, stories that have been passed down for generations that preserve and perpetuate the history and culture of not just the Wampanoag, but all Indigenous people of Southern New England.

Deborah exhibits her art throughout New England and beyond; her paintings capture visually the very essence of her culture past, present, and future. The Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum at the Dudley Farm is proud that two of her paintings are on display in the museum and are pivotal in telling the story of the Quinnipiac people. She will be sharing her art and speaking about how every piece tells a unique story. Some of her works will be for sale.
