Conversations with Historical Objects

Part of a series of discussions on objects from the Dudley Farm Museum collections.  We’ll explore what stories can be generated from different perspectives.  This month’s objects are two spinning wheels that are both still working great (with a wee bit of restoration).  We’ll talk about the history of home spinning and what role these might have had in the late nineteenth century.
